The sizing is perfect for heads that measure 58cm! The universal size, when adjusted to the largest setting, was too small(maybe by 1-2cm), but this large works quite well. The colors in person are nice, but are somewhat darker than the picture listed on amazon. The gray is a little more dark and the green is not as bright. Also, it comes with replacement padding for the inside, which I assume can be removed off the velcro and be washed. I think it is terrific. The Amazon photos and listings are confused, though, showing a shiny, brown helmet in one place and a sand-colored, fabric-covered helmet in another. The real item, "FOX Transition Hard Shell Helmet, Military, Medium" is fabric-covered. It bears the name FOX on the right side. On the left is the lettering "BORN TO" meaning "born to win" with an ace of spaces playing card stuck in the headband covering the "WIN." US soldiers sometimes do place a card under the headband, signifying days or weeks before they leave a combat theater. In the Fox helmet, the ace of spaces playing card (one day or one week left before departure) is actually a vinyl piece sewn onto the fabric. The Fox helmet also has a headband similar to the real GI version, traditionally worn for identification.
